Insights and the audit log

See how review is going across a repository or organisation, and look up who changed what in the audit log.

Insights

The Insights tab, on a repository or an organisation, shows how review is going over the last 7, 30 or 90 days:

  • Time to first review and time to merge.
  • Changes opened and merged each week. Show as a table gives the same numbers as a table, for screen readers or copying.
  • What's waiting for a first review, longest waiting first.
  • Open requests, and reviews in the period, per person: who's been asked to review the most, so you can spread the load.

Insights are worked out from review activity as it happens. On a repository that's new to Fettlecode, they appear with the first change.

Audit log

Fettlecode records sign-ins, access changes, branch rule changes, direct pushes, force pushes and submits, with who did it, what, to what, and when.

  • A repository's log is at the bottom of its Settings (repository admins).
  • An organisation's log is in its Settings (owners).
  • The whole instance's log is in the API, for instance admins: GET /api/admin/audit.

The audit log shows people's real addresses only when Fettlecode is set up to trust its proxy (TRUST_PROXY=true).
